Pumpkins Galore

Well another Halloween has came and gone. We were well prepared this year for all of the fun that halloween has to offer. As usual the weather was a bit on the cool side for the evening of Halloween and with guests in house it was a quite a challenge to carve pumpkins on the balcony. But, as you probably already know we succeeded in doing just that.

It is amazing how nice the village is at this time of the year. After deciding to decorate the Inn with pumpkins and other fall harvest decor we contacted the Pumpkin Patch at Dauphin Street United Methodist Church. They were very willing to give us a nice deal and help us decorate the inn. I see more and more people around this town that really do believe in this inn becoming a huge success and working really hard to help us get there. That in itself is a really proud accomplishment.

We bought 10 pumpkins and some other fall decor and loaded them all into the car. That was a pretty funny site, wish I could have gotten a picture of that. The pumpkins look very nice on the doorstep and by the front gates of the inn. And that best part is that the ones we did not carve we kept and added to our Fall into Fort Conde Inn decor.

Check the website for the Fall rates. They are going quick!

Until next time,

Fort Conde Inn
